Ç Go back
I was raised in a Christian family and was an active member of our church, but it was not until I was fourteen that a missionary came to our church to preacher and I realized that I was not truly born-again. That day I accepted Christ as my Savior.
My wife Agnes was born into a non-Christian family but was led to Christ by one of her teachers at shool. We were married in 1994 and she has been a blessing to me ever since.
I was trained for the ministry at the Kapsabet Bible College which is a product of the African Inland Mission. I was mentored for ministry by Rev. Timothy and Lee Hovings.
I am involved in various types of ministry in addition to church planting. Among these is the action my wife and I agreed upon, to take an orphan child into our home to raise as our own. Her name is Janet Atieno. This is in addition to our own children.
My monthly needs are $150.00 and I receive $50.00 from my church. I don't have any secular work to do, only ministry.
I am always in the process of training other men for the ministry by mentoring them as Paul did Timothy. There are three men now serving as pastors whom I trained. I have also started three churches here in Kenya.
