Ç Go back
My wife received the Lord at the age of fourteen at a youth conference. Since that time she has kept the faith and teaches the ladies in out church as well as using her gift of singing.
I was saved at the age of sixteen when a visiting preacher at our church spoke on the consequences of sin and the gift of salvation. After five years I felt a call to be God's servant and joined the Kapsabet Bible College. I graduated in 1991 and have served as a pastor since that time.
There are now four men pastoring churches whom I trained for the ministry. Currently I am training another man and a lady, who will minister to the women of the villages and churces. I have also been involved in starting four new churches.
Our family's monthly financial needs are $180.00 and I receive only about $53.00. As you can see I have a deficit. Our people are very poor and are tithing, but there is never enough.
Most of my ministry is with the Luo tribe but I also speak English. My wife and I have also a ministry among orphan children. There are three that we have taken into our home to care for. Our house is made of mud, wood and grass. It has three rooms, a bedroom, sitting room and a store. This is how we earn our money. We also grow some of our own food like beans, maize and vegetables but the production is minimal due to the low productivity of the land.
We thank you for your interest in our ministry and hope the Lord will lead you to help us so we can be more effective for Him.
