Ç Go back
I was saved in the year 1963. I started working in the ministry in 1973. I had my Bible training through an extension of a teaching at a Baptist Bible School in Mexico. Since our people are so poor, I do not receive any salary. I work at farming a few hours a week to feed and clothe my family.
During my years of ministry, I have started 4 churches. I teach new believer Bible classes to help them grow in their faith. I hold open air evangelistic meetings, where we distribute literature. I am also involved in tribal evangelism and prison ministries. We also work with the lepers and take the gospel into the slums.
We live very simply and eat mostly beans and vegetables. The women rise very early to prepare the fire to make our tortillas for the day. Our life is difficult but we continue to be faithful in His service. Most of our people do not have electricity in their homes or indoor plumbing. When we want to visit a neighboring village to take the gospel, we must walk. The very fortunate among us have a mule or horse for their travel.
Your financial help and your prayers will allow us to eat better and it will be an encouragement to us personally and in our work. May God bless you.
