I was saved in 1988 and was a simple follower of Jesus until one day I heard a message about the rich man in hell in Luke 16 and became burdened about those going to hell and decided to give my life to help people avoid this dreadful place. My wife accepted the Lord in 1995 and a year later we were married. Now she is a teacher in our church. Later I attended Bible school in the capital where we live.
I have to work part time as a refrigerator repairman in order to earn our food. Our monthly budget is $190 but I earn only $29. I do not receive any reliable income from our church because the people are poor due to the fighting that has been going on in our nation for the past few years and the fact that many are unemployed.
In the ministry I have already trained six men to serve the Lord by training them in the Bible and in church planting, witnessing, open air preaching, etc. I have started a church as well, it is called the Baptist Church of Abobo. Primarily I work with the tribe called Akan, which is my tribe. My wife is from the Avikam tribe. I speak two languages, my mother tongue which is Baoule and also French.

One day a missionary named Jerry Daniels came to my home and led me to Christ. At first my wife was an obstacle to me, because she did not want Christ in her, but now she too is saved and she is a great helper to me in the ministry. ...Read More
