I was saved on Sept 24 1988, when a Baptist pastor came to my house. He invited me to church. I went and from there I was saved. I love Jesus Christ as my Personal Savior. I remained faithful in the church for a number of years. I was a Sunday School helper to my pastor. I really felt the Lord telling me to become a pastor and to teach His Word to others.
My wife and I were married on Oct. 20,1993. She was saved in her home when a Baptist pastor presented to her the need to be saved. She repented of her sins and began to live in a good community or village. She is a Sunday School teacher of youth, visits the sick in our village, and works very closely with me in the ministry. She sings for the church and helps to lead the choir.
Working with the other pastors, I have started 7 churches. I have led 357 people to Christ since becoming a Christian myself. I have baptized 240 of them. I work with a team of other pastors. To help establish churches, we hold open-air evangelistic meetings, have children's ministries, disciple new believers, and we show Christian films and distribute literature. We also take the love of Jesus into the slum areas in the city. I speak 4 languages.
I have some seasonal income from my farm and we grow most of our food. We do have to purchase some. Our house is made of grass and mud and has two rooms. We have no salary and do need financial help. It will give us a better standard of living and help us in our ministry.
Report Files
Every 4 months sponsorship funds are sent to the preachers. With it goes a Missionary Report Form for each one to complete and return to our office. After compilation of statistics they are forwarded by mail or email to the sponsors. Below are past report forms from this preacher. They have been modified to protect the financial data of the sponsor.
